A superintendent with the Nebraska State Patrol calls it a “very disturbing case”.
A woman from Upland is accused of selling her daughters into prostitution. 35-year-old Michelle Randall is accused of arranging for men to have sex with her 14-year-old and 7-year-old daughters.
Three men have been arrested: 37-year-old Donald Grafe of Columbus, 41-year-old Shad Chandler of Lincoln and 38-year-old Alexander Rahe of Omaha. Authorities suspect that Randall allowed at least seven men to have sex with her 14-year-old daughter multiple times. They suspect she allow three unidentified men to have sex with the 7-year-old.
Randall has been arrested and is incarcerated in the Buffalo County jail.
The Nebraska State Patrol says information from a Craigslist personal ad offering female companionship in the Kearney area triggered the investigation.
“This is a very disturbing case,” said Colonel David Sankey, Superintendent of the Nebraska State Patrol, said in a written statement issued by the Patrol. “Our investigators working this case have nearly 30 years of experience and cannot recall a time where children so young were being sold into prostitution.”
The three female children living in the Randall household have been removed and placed into the protective custody of the state.
