The Omaha Storm Chasers lost 5-1, and dropped their second in a row to the Memphis Redbirds on Monday night. Left-hander Nathan Adcock allowed four runs in 5.1 innings in his second Triple-A loss of the season. Irving Falu went 2 for 4 with the team’s only RBI with his RBI single in the eighth inning.
Memphis (21-37) scored the first run of the game in the second inning with a run-scoring double by Pete Kozma. The Redbirds added another run the following inning when Ryan Jackson hit a solo shot off of Adcock (3-2). Memphis put the Storm Chasers in a 7-0 hole in the sixth thanks to a two-run triple by Cedric Hunter and another RBI double by Kozma.
