State net tax receipts continue to be slightly ahead of projections.
Nebraska Tax Commissioner Doug Ewald tells us they are on course to put another hundred million dollars back into the cash reserve.
Ewald says people should be generally happy with that and that they rebuilt the cash reserve, giving the State a solid base to move forward.
May net tax receipts were one percent above the certified forecast of $334 million. Ewald points out revenue is roughly 6.5% ahead of last year at this time.
