Two California men have been arrested and 65 pounds of marijuana has been seized after a state trooper stopped a vehicle on a county road near Shelton for speeding.
The Nebraska State Patrol reports that late Friday afternoon a trooper stopped a car for speeding on County Road 24 near Shelton in Buffalo County. The trooper obtained a probable cause search warrant for the car after smelling the odor of marijuana. He found the marijuana in four duffel bags in the trunk.
The driver, 31-year-old David Nguyen of Oakland, CA and a passenger 32-year-old Jacob Seneca Cordova of Oakland, CA have been charged for possession with intent to deliver and have been jailed in Buffalo County.
