Authorities say the search for a missing Lincoln County man is over.
Sixty-one-year-old Larry Sack has been missing since the Labor Day weekend.
A citizen reported finding a body in the inlet of the Sutherland Reservoir on Thursday evening. Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies arrived and found the body on the southeast side of the inlet near the waterfall area.
Officials say the body is believed to be Sack, who apparently drowned in the canal Labor Day weekend. Sack suffered from diabetes.
His fishing gear was found on the canal bank six miles upstream from the reservoir on West State Farm Road.
Officals say that the Central Nebraska Forensic Services from Gibbon is assisting with the body. An autopsy will be preformed this week. Foul play is not suspected.
