A live pipe bomb was located near an Omaha skate park Tuesday.
The Omaha Bomb Squad was called to Seymour Smith Park at 72nd and Harrison Streets around 4:30 Tuesday night after a pipe bomb was found in a wooded area. Bomb squad technicians set up a 300 foot perimeter and then detonated the bomb shortly after 6pm. There were several skateboarders and other visitors in the park at the time.
