Nebraska-Kearney hit .315 as a team as they advanced in the first round of the NCAA Division II Central Regional with a 3-0 sweep of Washburn. The Lopers were led by Ariel Krolikowski who hit. 457 with 18 kills and nine digs. Jenna Rouzee added a double-double with 39 assists and 14 digs. Katie Sokolowski hit .350 with 12 kills on the afternoon. Liz McGowan had a match high 15 digs.
For the Lady Blues Jessica Kopp hit .353 with 14 kills and seven digs. Jessica Fey added 11 kills for WU. Gracie Peterson had a double-double with 25 assists and 10 digs while Hillary Hughes added a team high 13 digs.
Nebraska-Kearny advances to face the winner of Truman-Southwestern Minnesota State at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30 from St. Paul, Minn.
