The Doane men’s basketball team pulled off a 103-97 win over D-II Nebraska-Kearney on Monday night in Crete, NE. The 8th ranked Tigers improved to 14-2 and sealed the win by making eight free throws in the final minute.
Trailing by two at the break, Doane scored 60 points with the help of shooting 67% from three point range. Dominique Smith scored 31 points, shooting 6-of-8 from long range to lead the Tigers. The Lopers, who drop to 2-6, were led by Jon Henderson’s 24 points.
