Alegent Creighton Health in Omaha is opening a new state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility at Immanuel Medical Center on Monday.
Spokesman Mark Masker says the new facility features 35 private rooms. Each patient will be provided an I-Pad as part of their treatment. He says they are a multipurpose tool as patients can work on their eye – hand coordination and memory exercises as well as keep in contact with friends and family.
Masker says the new facility has a hotel-like atmosphere and it features a healing garden, gathering areas and a dining room. These features are designed to help in a patient’s recovery and provide a relaxing atmosphere for visitors.
