President Obama’s State of the Union speech Tuesday evening is receiving mixed reviews. Perhaps the most talked about event was at the end of the address when he addressed gun control. Some described it as theatrics and Nebraska U-S Senator Mike Johanns agrees.
Johanns says the audience included families of gun violence victims and he felt it was inappropriate that it turned into a carnival type atmosphere. He says that display was disrespectful to them.
Johanns says it was like someone hit a three-pointer in the final shot of a basketball game and it was extremely uncomfortable.
