Gov. Dave Heineman has received nominees for two judicial vacancies.
The Judicial Nominating Commission for the County and District Court in the 7th Judicial District has forwarded the names of nominees Michael L. Long of Madison, and Patrick P. Carney and Dennis W. Morland of Norfolk to replace Judge Richard Krepela, who resigned. Michael T. Brogan and Mark A. Johnson of Norfolk have been nominated to fill the vacancy that occurred in the 7th Judicial District Court with the retirement of Judge Robert Ensz. The 7th Judicial District consists of Antelope, Cuming, Knox, Madison, Pierce Stanton and Wayne counties.
Heineman’s office reports that Gov. Heinman will schedule interviews with nominees in the coming weeks.
