Starting next month those flying out of Nebraska airports will be allowed to carry small fold-up knives, golf clubs and hockey sticks onto airplanes. Chad Wolf is the former Assistant Administrator for Transportation Security Policy and he agrees with the move.
He says it will take awhile before all TSA agents are trained and up to speed as to what is allowed and what is still banned. He says sporting equipment like golf clubs and hockey sticks should fit in the overhead bins but that call could be up to individual airlines.
Wolf says crew members will also need training on passenger safety.
