NU football back on the field after spring break

March 26, 2013 By Bill Pollock

The Nebraska football team got back down to business, continuing its 2013 spring practice season Monday afternoon, as the Huskers practiced for just over two hours in full pads.  Offensive coordinator Tim Beck called it controlled chaos.

“A little rusty but not bad. The effort was good, the tempo was good—better, we were working on that today.” Beck said, “We could be sharper, but I think for the most part it wasn’t too bad. I like the way our guys are progressing, we still are a little bit a ways away to be able to do all the things we need to do, but I really like our effort, I like our toughness right now the way our guys are playing, but we have to be more consistent.”
