Two time national player of the year Keilani Rickets homered and drove in four runs, plus started in the circle after pitching a career high 12 innings the night before, as Oklahoma beat Tennessee 4-0 to sweep the Women’s College World Series.
Nebraska catcher Taylor Edwards was one of 13 players named to the all-tournament team. She was one of only three players who weren’t from Tennessee or Oklahoma.
In Nebraska’s two losses, Edwards was 4-for-9 three runs scored, two RBIs and one home run. Ricketts was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player. Nebraska was one of only four teams to defeat the Sooners this season.
