Third teen-age boy dies from injuries in rollover crash near Fremont

June 5, 2013 By Brent Martin

A third teen-ager has died in the rollover crash near Fremont late Monday night.

16-year-old Trey Hansen died Tuesday evening at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha. A fourth 16-year-old, Jake Burnside, remains in critical condition at Creighton.

All four boys in the accident were 16; all students of Fremont High School.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office reported Jackson Blick and Tyler Walling died at the scene.

The sheriff’s office reported that none of the boys were wearing their seat belts. It reported alcohol played no role in the wreck.

The sheriff’s office stated Blick was likely driving too fast in a 1966 Ford Mustang when he lost control on Old Highway 8 and the Mustang flipped about a mile southeast of Fremont late Monday night.
