Most good bakers add a bit of this and a pinch of that. Deborah Biggs did just that to create her Spicy Churro Crescent Bites and she hopes that recipe takes her Las Vegas. She is one of 60 semi-finalists in the Pillsbury Bake-Off competition and the only from Nebraska.
Deborah Biggs of Omaha says her recipe is in the dessert category and follows the popular dippable trends. She says her bites are filled with orange marmalade with a chocolate hazelnut dipping sauce on the side.
On-line voting is in progress until June 27th. The top 34 vote getters will then advance to the finalist category and will head to Las Vegas in November to compete for the one-million dollar prize.
