Norfolk wins a national honor.
Its Chamber of Commerce has been named the National Chamber of the Year for its size by the American Chamber of Commerce Executives.
Norfolk Chamber President Dennis Houston says the chamber’s success can be attributed to tremendous collaboration and teamwork.
The northeast Nebraska city of 25,000 won over two other finalists: Hays, Kansas and Mayfield Graves County, Kentucky.
Norfolk has been a finalist before. It finished as the runner-up to Paducah, Kentucky in 2011.
