Authorities are investigating the cause of a crash near Pine Junction, Colorado last Thursday that killed a Broken Bow woman.
The Colorado State Patrol says the crash happened on U.S. 285.
Fifty-one-year-old Michelle Whyte was driving a vehicle that crossed the center line of the highway and collided with a 2009 Kia Optima with four people inside.
In the Kia, 73-year-old Charlene Page of Broken Bow was killed. Her husband, 76-year-old Paul Page, also of Broken Bow, and daughter, 54-year-old Rhonda Rodriquez of Thornton, Colorado, were injured.
Sixty-seven-year-old Francisco Rodriquez of Thornton was also injured. The Colorado State Patrol is investigating whether excessive speed, texting or prescription drug use contributed to the crash.
