A hospital in south-central Nebraska is reporting a baby boom.
The Family Birth Center at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney had its busiest baby month on record last month. The hospital had 117 births.
July 16th was the busiest baby day with seven births in 24 hours, the norm is just two or three.
Despite the record month, the hospital reports 651 births for the year, which is tracking seven behind last year. 2008 was the record year for babies at the Kearney hospital with 1,117.
