Prosecutors say 19 year old Mikael Lloyd admitted to killing his girlfriend, 19 year old Melissa Rodriguez on August 14th. They say the two had argued for several days and Lloyd arranged to meet Rodriguez at an Omaha park where he strangled her and dumped her body in a prepared grave at Graceland Park Cemetery.
Prosecutors also say that Rodriguez reminded Lloyd of his mother.
Lloyd will remain in jail without bond until his next court date on September 10th.
