Omaha is expanding their popular bike share program. Live Well Omaha spokesman Kurt Goetzinger says they are opening two new “hubs” where members can check out bikes and go for a ride.
One of the new hubs is located at the Chamber of Commerce Plaza at 456 South 13th Street. The second location is on the Nebraska side of the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge. There are now more than a half-dozen locations in Omaha.
Goetzinger says more than a dozen cities in the country also have B-cycle programs and membership is good at all locations. B-cycle is hoping this will boost tourism in Omaha and that the city is very bike friendly.
