As many as 92,000 Husker fans will pack Memorial Stadium in Lincoln on Saturday for the first game of the season. Associate Athletic Director Butch Hug says all the stadium gates will be open for ticket scanning. Those leaving and wanting back in will have to have their ticket re-scanned.
Tickets can also be stored on mobile devices and scanned at the gate.
Hug says a new rule this year prohibits fans from entering or re-entering the stadium once the 4th quarter begins.
He says many of the same rules for fans remain in place including the ban on bags larger than 13X10 inches. He says there will be containers at each gate where fans can drop their bag if there are questions about whether it is too large to enter the stadium.
