More charges for suspects in Omaha killing spree

October 2, 2013 By Karla James

Two women accused of involvement in a murder spree in Omaha in August face more charges. Erica Jenkins and Christine Bordeaux are now charged with conspiracy to commit robbery in the case involving murder victim Andrea Kruger. Prosecutors say those two women were in a vehicle with accused murderer Nikko Jenkins and his uncle, Warren Levering.

Prosecutors say that Nikko Jenkins admitted during a nine hour investigation that he did kill Kruger, Curtis Bradford, Juan Uribe-Pena and Jorge Cajiga-Ruiz. Jenkins says the killings were sacrifices to an Egyptian god.

Prosecutors are also considering charging Levering with 1st degree murder for his involvement in Kruger’s death.

Prosecutors say that Erica Jenkins and Bordeaux were also directly involved with the murders of Uribe-Pena and Cajiga-Ruiz. They say Nikko Jenkins told them that the two women had been bar hopping in south Omaha when they met the two men and their intention was to steal money. When they learned that the men were carrying $1,000 they called Nikko Jenkins who told them to go to Spring Lake Park. Jenkins says he then shot them and took their money.
