Another impressive fund-raising total has been released in the much-watched race to succeed Sen. Mike Johanns.
This time, former State Treasurer Shane Osborn’s campaign announced it has raised more than $570,500 since Osborn filed in June.
Osborn is one of four Republicans vying to succeed Johanns, a Republican who has decided to step down.
“We built momentum this past quarter in terms of dollars and outreach,” Osborn said in a written statement released by the campaign. “It’s extremely important to me that Nebraskans know the people elected to represent them. I want to engage Nebraskans in a statewide conversation about this issues facing our country, and I am very encouraged by their response.”
The campaign states it has raised $312,544 in individual contributions from over 500 donors.
