Nebraska begins the second half of its season on the road to take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers. After a pair of bye weeks in the first half of the season, the Minnesota game will begin a stretch of six games in 35 days to cap the regular season. Saturday’s contest will also be the first of five Legends Division contests in the final six weeks of the season
Minnesota features a strong rushing attack, averaging better than 210 yards per game, while the Gopher defense has also been strong against the run, holding opponents to 123.4 yards per game on the ground. Nebraska will be looking to extend a 16-game winning streak against Minnesota that dates back to 1963, but Minnesota does hold a 29-22-2 overall advantage in the series. Game time is set for 11 a.m. CT with the game televised to a national audience on ESPN.
