It was quite a sight at the tallest building in the Omaha metro area Wednesday morning. About 2,000 employees inside the first National Bank Tower at 16th and Dodge Street were evacuated during a planned disaster drill. This was a joint effort with Omaha Police, Fire and Emergency Management.
Pioneer Courage Park at 15th and Capitol Streets is about a block from the Tower and that served as a staging area for the employees. After the drill they were given the “all clear” to return to work.
