Nebraska’s Stanley Jean-Baptiste was ejected in the second quarter of the Purdue. He is the first Big Ten player to be ejected under the new contact rules. The Huskers defensive back was ejected from the game for targeting.
I-back Ameer Abdullah rushed 20 times for 126 yards and one touchdown. With his 126 rushing yards, Abdullah increased his career rushing total to 2,103 and became the 28th player in Nebraska history to rush for 2,000 career yards. Abdullah is the 12th player to reach 2,000 yards before the end of his junior year.
