Nebraska’s 2nd District Congressman Lee Terry sits on the House Energy and Commerce Committee and on Wednesday had the opportunity to question Health and Human Services Chief Kathleen Sebelius during a hearing. He says he reached out to Nebraska’s State Insurance Commission and the Governor’s office to get numbers and was told even they can’t get the information on numbers signing up under the federal health care exchange.
Congressman then asked Sebelius on the numbers. She stated they are not accurate and will not release inaccurate information.
Terry says more Democrats are now siding with Republicans that the health care exchange needs to be delayed. He adds it appears the entire Health Care Reform Act is collapsing on itself.
