The top-seeded Nebraska soccer team goes for the Big Ten Tournament title starting today. The Huskers will face the No. 8 seed Minnesota in the tournament’s third game at 4:30 p.m. today in Champaign, IL. NU is on a six game win streak and have won 13 of their last 14 matches. Back on October 20th, NU won 1-0 at Minnesota, but the Gophers outshot NU 20-16, but goalie Emma Stevens had to make just six saves.
Senior Jordan Jackson was selected as the Big Ten Midfielder of the Year, senior Ari Romero was named Big Ten Defender of the Year and NU Head Coach John Walker was unanimously named Big Ten Coach of the Year.
