Here’s what impressed me about the Huskers 17-13 win over Michigan. First, the fact the defense held Michigan to -21 yards rushing, hitting quarterback Devon Gardner with seven sacks and a 15 tackles for loss. Second, the Huskers were able to go on the road on national TV and win a big game, something haven’t been able to do. What does this game mean for quarterback Tommy Armstrong. Sean Callahan you have some interesting thoughts.
With the win at Michigan sets Nebraska up for a first place showdown with Michigan State this Saturday. The Huskers are 4-1 in the conference. The Spartans 5-0. A win this weekend would give NU an edge in the division with winnable games over Penn State and Iowa to wrap up the season.
