Two people have died in a single vehicle crash in Douglas County that might have been caused by the winter sleet and snow that hit the Omaha area.
The Nebraska State Patrol reports the early afternoon accident occurred a quarter of a mile east of Highway 133 on Bennington Road. The vehicle left Bennington Road, rolled, and struck a tree on the south side of the highway.
The patrol reports both the driver of the small pick-up, 59-year-old George Trobaugh of Omaha, and a passenger, 54-year-old Frank Besch of Valley, died in the wreck.
Investigators indicate weather played a role in the crash.
