A suspect is now in custody after the weekend slaying of a woman in northeast Nebraska.
Witnesses heard the shots, saw the victim hit the ground, and watched as the gunman got in a car and drove away.
It happened Sunday afternoon in South Sioux City. The victim, who was shot to death, is identified as 28-year-old Bonnie Baker.
Police in Sioux City, Iowa, arrested the suspect on Monday.
22-year-old Raymond Gonzalez is being held on initial charges of terroristic threats and disturbing the peace.
While Gonzalez is not yet charged with murder, his bond is set at $1-million.
