Forty-three bundles located in an empty water tank beneath the bathroom floor of a motorhome held nearly 100 pounds of marijuana, according to the Nebraska State Patrol.
NSP reports a trooper stopped the motorhome on I-80 just west of the Seward exit late Monday morning.
A drug dog led to a search of the recreational vehicle, eventually leading to the 94.7 pounds of marijuana.
According to the patrol, the driver of the motorhome, 26-year-old Melvin Tabor of Hayward, CA was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to sell it. Also charged were passengers 32-year-old Briseida Mendez-Velazquez of Puyallup, WA, and 27-year-old Julio Morales-Mayorga of Union City, CA.
