Terran Petteway led four Huskers in double figures with 18 points, including 13 in the second half to lead Nebraska to its second straight Big Ten win. Nebraska outscored Indiana, 20-8 in the opening seven minutes of the half to erase a 13-point halftime deficit that was as big as 16. Nebraska won 60-55 to improved to 10-1 on their new home court.
After the game Petteway said if this game was played earlier in the year, they wouldn’t have been able to come back. Evidence that this team is growing.

Shavon Shields was one of the four Huskers in double figures, but he struggled shooting 3 of 12 from the field and 0 for 3 from three-point range, but he agrees with Petteway, the key for this team is to keep building on these successes.
AUDIO Shields on building off this win (:15)
If Nebraska is going to continue to improve, they have to find ways to keep attacking the basket and move the ball. When they do that, they prove they can score and hang with teams…even Indiana, who’s length posed problems early for NU. The Hoosiers held NU to 35% shooting in the first, before the Huskers turned things around by hitting 52% in the second. Indiana also turned the ball over 19 times, helping the Huskers on the defensive end of the floor.
