A host with TV’s “Animal Planet” is heading to Omaha on April 25th.
The University of Nebraska Medical Center announced that Jeff Corwin will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Nebraska Science Festival. Outreach Program Coordinator Kacie Gerard says tickets to the event will be released on February 22nd on a first come, first served basis with a maximum of two per person. Tickets can be picked up in person at the Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha between 10 am and 4 pm.
Gerard says this is part of UNMC’s 2nd annual Nebraska Science Festival taking place April 24th through the 27th. It features science and technology related activities and this year many events are also scheduled in Lincoln. Gerard says their goal is to expand the festival statewide in the year’s ahead.
