The storm also left behind freezing temperatures. High temps today aren’t expected to get out of the single digits in most areas of the state, while there’s a Wind Chill Advisory posted for much of the state. Wind chill levels are howling to 25-below zero, and lower.
Forecasters say there’s a chance for more snow on Friday evening.
A fatal accident yesterday afternoon in eastern Nebraska is being blamed on the wintery weather, at least in part.
Saunders County authorities say a pickup truck and a farm tractor collided, killing the pickup driver. He’s identified as 36-year-old Arlin Kasuske of Ashland. The tractor driver wasn’t hurt.
