A California man stopped for speeding on I-80 has been arrested on drug charges.
The Nebraska State Patrol reports 63-year-old Randall Cook of Klamath River was stopped by a trooper Wednesday morning near the Lincoln airport exit. The patrol says a drug dog sniffed out the marijuana, leading to a search that seized 38.8 pounds of marijuana, stuffed in two duffel bags, tucked away in the trunk.
Cook has been charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to sell it. He has been jailed in Lancaster County in Lincoln.
