Nebraska will honor two-time All-American and two-time first-team All-Big Ten selection Jordan Hooper in Senior Night festivities on Thursday. Hooper is one of the best Husker history. Hooper is averaging 20.1 points and 9.3 rebounds per game to rank in the top three in the Big Ten in both categories.
She is one of just three Huskers and five Big Ten players in history to produce 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in her career. She ranks No. 2 at Nebraska all-time in both points (2,208) and rebounds (1,054) and both of those numbers rank 11th in Big Ten history.
Hooper is Nebraska’s career three-point leader with 279, which ranks No. 5 in Big Ten history, right behind Illinois senior Amber Moore’s 285.
She is the first senior in Nebraska history to lead the Huskers to three straight 20-win seasons, and is on track to lead the Huskers to their third straight NCAA Tournament. A psychology major, Hooper will earn her bachelor’s degree from Nebraska in May.
