No charges will be filed in the shooting death of a man accused of a home invasion Saturday night in Omaha.
Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine stated the shooting was justified.
Police were called to a home near 49th and Fort Streets around 9 pm Saturday night. Police report while en route dispatch updated that shots had been fired and a suspect was down. Omaha Fire and Rescue was also dispatched.
Police found 19 year old Ramon Matlock on the front lawn. Matlock was unable to be resuscitated and died.
Police say the homeowner stated Matlock had walked through the front door of the home but would not release further details.
