The Nebraska Tourism Commission is getting ready for summer vacation season. Public Information Manager Angela White says they are getting ready their 2014 Nebraska Passport program. She says for 2014 the passport will feature 80 attractions on 10 themed tours. All you have to do is pick up a passport and have it stamped when you visit a participating attraction.
Some of the locations on the passport include Arbor Lodge, Nebraska State Capitol, Nebraskaland Days in North Platte, the Sandstone Grill in Burwell, Carhenge in Alliance to Higgins Hardware in Plattsmouth.
For each tour completed the participant will receive a t-shirt. Travelers can also receive Nebraska Lottery Scratch coupons, a digital picture frame and a Pebble Smartwatch. Those who visit all locations are eligible for the grand prize drawing for a 60″ plasma TV.
The 2014 Passport program starts May 1st and runs through September 1st. Passports are available by logging on to info@NebraskaPassport.com. They are also available at all participating attractions.
