A 39-year-old Lincoln woman has died of injuries suffered in a car crash.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports Francisca Campbell died from the injuries sustained in an accident north of Plymouth.
According to the sheriff’s office, Campbell was riding in a car traveling west on 724th Road Wednesday afternoon when the driver of the car, Steven Cordis, ran a stop sign.
A southbound car driven by Mary Pearson hit the car on its passenger side.
The impact spun the car around. It went into a ditch and slammed into a utility pole.
Campbell died of her injuries at a Lincoln hospital.
Pearson, who is 60, was taken to Beatrice Community Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Cordis refused medical treatment, according to the sheriff’s office.
