Pritchard keeps streak alive as NU baseball falls to Northern Colorado

Nebraska baseball senior Michael Pritchard extended his consecutive on-base streak to 57 games after a he lined a two-out single in the first inning. it was just one of seven hits on the day as the Huskers saw their five-game winning streak end with a 9-2 loss against Northern Colorado.

With that first inning single, Pritchard is tied for the longest active streak in the country with Texas’ Mark Payton. The Huskers used nine pitchers on the day. Freshman Ben Miller threw two innings of shutout relief with three strikeouts.

The Huskers homestand continues Friday vs. the UC Irvine Anteaters on Friday, March 14, at 4:35 p.m., Saturday at 2:05 p.m. and Sunday at 12:05 p.m.
