A young teen-ager died in a one-car accident in southeast Nebraska in which an underage driver lost control of the vehicle and it rolled.
The office reports 14-year-old Trevyn Michael Roth of Milford died in the accident Thursday evening about four miles southwest of Pleasant Dale. Roth was thrown from the vehicle. Two other minors were injured, including the underage girl who was driving the sports utility vehicle.
The driver, Samantha Martin, did not have either a driver’s license or a learner’s permit. The other passenger injured in the wreck has been identified as Brennan Roth.
All three teen-agers were students at Milford Public Schools.
One of the minors was flown to Bryan West Hospital by Star Care life flight. The other was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The Nebraska State Patrol is assisting the sheriff’s office with the investigation.
