Jordan Hooper was named second-team All-America award from The Associated Press, while sophomore Rachel Theriot added honorable-mention accolades for the Huskers. Hooper, the 2014 Big Ten Player of the Year, finished her Nebraska career as the school’s career three-point leader with 295, which tied for fourth in Big Ten history.
Hooper will compete in the College Slam Dunk & 3-Point contests on Thursday, April 3 in Dallas as part of the buildup to the NCAA Final Four in North Texas. Hooper will then head to Nashville on Friday to attend the NCAA Women’s Final Four festivities. As one of 12 finalists for the Wade Trophy, Hooper will be on hand for the announcement of the WBCA All-America Team.
