A complaint leads animal control agents with the Nebraska Humane Society to a Sarpy County Home this morning. Vice President of Field Operations Mark Langan says inside they found two dogs, seven cats and about 20 chickens.
Langan says the animals they are taking out of the house are not in good physical condition. Animal control officers were dressed in masks and protective gear do to the horrible conditions found inside. Langan says the living conditions inside are not fit for humans or animals.
The homeowner was not there at the time of the raid. Langan says she will likely face a number of animal cruelty charges.
