Tuesday night’s Nebraska primary election is now in the history books.
There were two close races – one for governor and the other for the U-S House District 2.
Congressman Lee Terry won the race with 53% of the vote and Dan Frei received 47%.
Frei says he has no regrets and was very happy with his campaign.
Some are calling Frei a principled leader and others say he is a sore loser.
Frei reacted by saying, “Draw your own conclusions and I’m willing to let the chips fall where they may. I woke up this morning feeling absolutely fantastic. We ran a great race.”
Frei says his because he was under funded his biggest challenge was getting his message out to all Nebraska voters. Frei says he has no intentions of launching a write-in campaign for the November election but adds, “Let’s see what unfolds. A lot can happen.”
