Current and retired military members, veterans and their families are encouraged to attend the Offutt Career Fair in Bellevue on Thursday. Deb Christensen with the Nebraska Department of Labor says they are teaming with the Airman Family Readiness Center at Offutt Air Force Base in sponsoring the event.
Christensen says only companies that have openings are permitted to take part in this event and 130 have signed up. She says jobs range from entry level to management to professional positions. Industries include financial, manufacturing, production, insurance and construction. Christensen says two military job fairs are held each year and upwards of 500 people typically attend. It is also open to civilians.
The job fair is from 10 am to 2 pm at the LiedActivitiesCenter on Thursday. That is located at the corner of Highway 370 and Ft. Crook Road.
