Former Husker basketball star Lindsey Moore used her off day along with her Minnesota Lynx teammates to enjoy Thursday at the White House as they were honored by President Barack Obama for their 2013 WNBA title.
President Obama commended the team for winning their third straight WNBA title and joked about how he predicted he would see the Lynx again before his term was up. Obama joked, “I just want to mention that I was right. You can fact check that…I got it right.”
Lindsey tweeted a picture of herself and said, “Fun day at the White House, thanks for having me Barack.”
Minnesota is off to an 8-1 start. Lindsey in her second year, averaging 10 minutes a game, 1.4 points and one rebound per game.
