A state highway patrol trooper stopped a car for speeding on I-80 in Seward County and confiscated two pounds of heroin.
The Nebraska State Patrol reports the trooper stopped the car late Wednesday morning just west of the Beaver Crossing exit on I-80. The trooper searched the car after obtaining permission. The patrol says the heroin was concealed under the center console in three packages. It has an estimated street value of $360,000.
The driver, 31-year-old Joe Bolanos of King City, CA has been charged with intending to sell the heroin.
