The causes of death have not been released and autopsies are scheduled for Thursday afternoon.
Authorities say Maureen Flanagan was found dead in the basement of the home and Cooper inside a vehicle in the garage. They add that the deaths are not accidental the neighborhood is not in danger.
A friend went to check on their well-being after not hearing from them since July 9th. That person called authorities after seeing mail piling up outside.
Neighbors say Maureen Flanagan was suffering from an illness and while nice, she kept to herself. Cooper Flanagan had just graduated from high school and became an Eagle Scout.
